Fishing in Gjesdal

Fishing rights are normally the rights of the landowners. Landowners give you the right to fish or they sell fishing cards. In addition you must buy local fishing cards.

All fishing in the sea is free when you use a fishing rod or hook and line.

Live fishing bait is not allowed to use in Norway.

If you are more than 18 years old and intend to catch salmon, sea trout or sea char, you must pay a state license fee. It can be paid in all post offices in Norway or on the net.
